Kencar Fashion Magazine Set To Be Launched In Ghana

USA based fashion magazine called ‘Kencar’ is set to be launched in the Capital on the 23rd of September 2011 inside Zangibar Pub on the Kwaku Barko Lane inside Labone with all the fashion glamour and is strictly by invitation. The launch which will feature fashion stylist from the US including top fashion designers both internationally and locally will see for the first time a full time fashion magazine launched in the capital. In an interview with Mr. Enoch Amenigye he disclosed that Kencar Fashion Magazine will contain articles and editorial stories featuring a diverse array of up-and-coming fashion designers, as well as independent online entrepreneurs in the fashion and beauty space. Enoch also added that Kencar as a fashion magazine has the basic goal of recognizing and promoting independent fashion designers, many of whom are increasingly becoming recognized players in the fashion industry, and reinforce the legitimacy of their existence. The CEO of Kencar Ghana of which the mother company is from the USA also made known that the vision is to set a new standard by bringing the modeling and fashion world closer to Africa specifically Ghana. The mother company which also has a branch in Trinidad and Tobago sees Ghana as a potential fashion growth hence the main reason to launch kencar Ghana ltd including its first product Kencar Fashion Magazine. On the 23rd of September 2011, Kencar Magazine will be exposing a variety of upcoming works under their sleeves, like the next super model West Africa, which is TV a reality show and their own Make up company called ‘ATLAST Make up’. The event which is strictly by invitation will feature top Ghanaian musicians to light up the fashion launch plus all other favorite celebrities in the capital especially those who are fashion trendy.
