June Sarpong breaks down whilst discussing her brother’s suicide

June Sarpong talks openly about her brother’s suicide for the first time. She wants to remember Sam for the person he was, not the person who took his own life. 

Sam, 40, died after jumping off a bridge in Pasadena, Calif. According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, he died after jumping off a bridge in Pasadena. 

The office said the cause of his death is ruled a suicide while an autopsy is pending.

“It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel “Sam” Sarpong, Jr. must share the news that Sam has passed away,” his agent said Oct. 28.
