Juliet Ibrahim Turns Musician for charity

Juliet Ibrahim was caught recording in the studio ‘Star Production’ with known and underground artistes. Last weekend, the studio of Nafti was on a flight as the artistes on the song including her colleagues and friend joined in the shooting of the video. The heart touching song preaches about against kidney cancer. And from a source, we were told it’s a Juliet Ibrahim Foundation’s song.

The JULIET IBRAHIM FOUNDATION is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization focused on creating awareness on kidney cancer and providing necessary interventions to ensure a society free of such issues in Ghana and Africa at large. The foundation is founded by the award winning and celebrated Ghanaian actress Mrs Juliet Ibrahim Safo (known in the public eye as Juliet Ibrahim) in her bid to give back to society and be socially responsible.

It understands that cancer, especially kidney cancer is preventable and curable, and it aims to help those in need of treatment in Africa. It modus is to offer awareness/education, treatment and other social needs that would help individuals dealing with kidney diseases. This choice was however motivated and inspired after having a personal experience with this life threatening disease by way of a very close relative.

The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation will have its launch on the 26th December 2011 at ZANZI BAR in labone. It is a “strictly by invitation” launch where invitation will be sent to all attending. This event will be aired live on SOUNDCITY TV. Gracing the occasion’s red carpet are members of the Ghana-Nigeria film fraternity, footballers, as well as other famous celebrities from various industries in Ghana and abroad.
