Journalists Tour Silverbird Entertainment Centre In Nigeria

Until African governments come out with fiscal policies that support the establishment and growth of industries, it will be difficult for industries or business entities to expand and employ more people and contribute more to GDP growth.

Mr. Jide Asumah, Group Head, Africa of Silver Bird Entertainment centre made the observation in Abuja Nigeria in an interview with a group of Ghanaian journalists.

They were drawn from Peace FM, Daily Graphic, Daily Guide, Joy FM, Business and Financial Times, Happy FM and a freelance journalist to visit Silver Bird Entertainment Centres in Lagos and Abuja as part of activities to mark the one year anniversary of Silverbird Entertainment Centre in Accra (Ghana). Mr. Jide said Silver Bird is working hard to expand its operation in Ghana within the next five years which will create direct employment for about 300 people and indirectly employ over 5000 people.

Some of the journalists who spoke to Peace FM about their impression on the trip said it has given them the opportunity to learn more about the social life of Nigerians especially with regard to entertainment.
