Rapper Joey B graced this year’s edition of Sarkodie’s annual end-of-year concert Rapperholic, which is took place at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Serving from his growing repertoire of hits including Otoolege, Tonga, and You & Me (off his forthcoming 89 album), he administered superior party aura at the venue, which was overspilling with Sarkodie fanatics.

Formerly signed to D Black’s Black Avenue Muzik, Joey B’s 89 album is also scheduled for release under his new imprint World Records. Previous singles from this project have chalked significant success, prominent among them being You x I. Most of 89 was reportedly recorded in China, and is homage to the year of his birth.

The show has already seen performances from Ras Kuuku, 2 Fingers, Article Wan, Nii Funny, and CJ Biggerman, and Tema-based disc jokey K Krack.

Rapperholic is also the name of Sarkodie (born Michael Owusu Addo)’s sophomore album, and he’s reportedly finalizing work on his fifth solo album “The Highest”, which comes out early next year.

Recipient of several local and international awards including the prestigious BET Best International Act: Africa in 2012, Sarkodie has released Makye (2009), Rapperholic (2012), Sarkology (2014), Mary (2015), as well as the joint album TMG with producer Jayso in 2013.
