Joe Mettle releases ‘victory’ song for Easter celebration

Record-breaker, jinx-breaker and trendsetter, Joe Mettle is on a higher ground, just days after winning the ultimate award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The ‘Artiste of the Year’ winner is already out with a new banging single to celebrate his memorable win, which is also prepped for the Easter celebration.

The new single, ‘Yesu Edi Nkunim’ (Jesus’ won victory) is a thanksgiving song – giving God all the praise and thanks for the good things he’s done.

Joe Mettle, who also won two other awards on the night (Best Male Vocalist & Best Gospel Artist) has rebuffed any talk that, the song was produced knowing very well he was going to win the award.

He has stated that, the song was recorded before nominations were released for the 2017 VGMA.
