Jay Ghartey to headline Viva Lavuvuzuela music festival in NYC

Ghanaian American singer, Jay Ghartey is preparing to headline a major music festival in New York City on July 23. The Viva La Vuvuzela Music festival in Brooklyn is an explosion of sounds from Brooklyn to Bangalore, presented by AfriPOP and Osekre’s Vibe.

Jay Ghartey will be performing with a live band and will cover material from his award winning album, ‘Shining Gold’, as well as songs from his upcoming album. The music festival has 11 other acts from all over the world, including Osekre, Bonnaroo Freshmen, U Say USA, and Yolanda Zama and looks to be an exciting night for music lovers. The venue for the event is The House of Yes on the 342 Maujer St, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
