J.J Bunny Should Not Be Accused!

J.J Bunny is a well known actress in the States who is yet break into the industry in Africa. Her versatility could be seen in movies like “This is Houston, The Bet, Governor Gift, Paparazzi and Cage.” The other side of Love which is soon to be release in Ghana as “Taste of Love” and X-Class starring the Ghana’s lover boy, John Dumelo are yet to hit our screens.

J.J Bunny starred in two movies by Raj Films, ‘Perfect Stranger” and “Love and Crime” these movies are still at the editing bench and should be release by the close of the 2011.

Readers would recall that, we had an interview with J.J on the 17th August this year, under the caption, “J.J Bunny Sees Nothing Wrong with Nudity in Movies But…” On the street of US, rumors has it that the headline and the story has been twisted quoting as “I Can Go Nude in Movies – J.J Bunny”

Newfylla would like to put on record that, J.J never said she’s cool to go nude but said, “I don’t have problems with SEEING nude scenes in movies. We just have to label it right.”

The question was, whether or not she was cool SEEING nudity in African movie? To which she answered yes, adding that she has no problem seeing nudity in African movie “BUT” the movie must be specified to a certain age group. “Which means movies with such explicit should be rated 18 and above.”

As much as we will like to quickly shout “no nudity in African movie,” let us understand that movie makers and writers need to have a broad, unrestricted and open mindset not narrow, restricted and full of fear of “cultural criticism”. Nude scenes do not have to be shot like a porn movie but rather be sensual and classyhttp://www.ameyawdebrah.com/

The actress has never gone nude in any of her movie neither did she say she could go nude in a movie. We would like to urge our cherished reader to stick to what they read, take note of our caption and not misinterpret our writings.

Let us not destroy ones hard earned reputation through misinterpretation.
