Introducing US Music Star; Appeh

Akwasi Appeh was born in the early 1980's at Cape Coast, which is located in the central region of Ghana. Appeh attended Happy Home JSS School at Agona-Swedru, where his mother was a Nurse. During his school years at Mfantsipim, he became actively involved in the students entertainment group, as a result, performing in front of large crowds became natural for him. Although he loved music, Appeh believed that he could only change his world by attaining Education and through constant determination to strive for the best. With this believe, Appeh was not only an excellent student in his class, but also one who ceased all opportunities.

Appeh and his family relocated to the United States in search for better educational opportunities. In the United States, he was pressured to succeed academically. It was imperative that he set the mark because he served as a role model. Currently, Appeh is enrolled in CCSU and TCC, where he majors in Computer Science.

During the beginning of the year 2008, Appeh released an Album called "Honey Moon", which is believed to be a powerful debut. On this Album, Appeh talks about many social problems that he has witnessed friends and family encounter. On this album, there are ten songs and each song carriers a different message. Each one of the song features a different format in beat, and style. "It is unique and an independent album" says most of critics. The album proves that hip life music is taking a different route in Ghana and the debut stands as one of the true talents that Ghana has produced by far.

In the US, Appeh has performed on numerous platforms. He well is acclaimed and invited to different societal occasions such Universities cultural shows, Afro-American Parties, Ghanaian Parties and the list goes on. His last performance was at a Russian Party where Appeh shook the stage with his Russian friend who featured Appeh to sing on three of his many songs. Appeh is not rushing music at this point in his life, he is waiting to see what God has in store for him. Although he is very passionate about music, he believes that positive and effective change can originate from one attaining the highest of Education.
