After what seems like a hiatus from the movie screens, fans of Ghanaian actress Ingrid Alabi are in for sterling performances from her as she is returning to the screens again.
Beautiful Ingrid was m.i.a. for about a year as a result of schooling and handling of her private businesses.
NEWS-ONE gathered that she is back on the block with more passion and a well-polished look for her fans.
She has currently landed a lead role in a movie, working alongside Nadia Buari and John Dumelo.
Even though the title of the new movie is not yet confirmed, indications are that the movie is being produced by a Nigerian in Ghana.
The last movie the first runner-up of Miss Ghana 2004 appeared in was ‘Prince Bride’ which was produced by Abdul Salam’s Venus Film. In that movie, she starred alongside Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Kalsume Sinare, John Dumelo, Beverly Afaglo and a number of others.
She has been around for a while and has played a number of supporting roles to perfection.
Ingrid Nyarkowaa Alabi entered Ghana’s movie industry via a supporting role in Venus Film’s ‘Tears Of Woman’ in 2007. ?
Subsequently, she played roles in the movie ‘Playboy’, alongside Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Nana Ama McBrown and Pascaline Edward, and proved her dexterity as well.
She also appeared in ‘Girls Connection’. Indications are that she has got other movies that are yet to be released.
Her return is anticipated to whip up some excitement in the industry.
