Ghanaian Disc Jockey and music executive, DJ Mensah, has called on the government to officially include the 2027 Rapperholic concert scheduled to be held at the O2 Arena in the activities marking Ghana@70.

In a post shared on his social media pages on March 11, 2026, DJ Mensah urged corporate bodies, stakeholders and individuals to support the event by purchasing tickets.

“I call on corporate entities, stakeholders, shareholders, and individuals to buy tickets for themselves and for their loved ones to witness Ghanaian music at its absolute highest level,” he wrote.

According to him, the event could become a major cultural moment that promotes Ghanaian music and tourism internationally.

“The truth is, the door is already open, the foot is already in the doorway. Now it's time for the rest of the industry to step fully through it and make it part of the official Ghana@70 moment,” he stated.

DJ Mensah also suggested creating a travel and event platform similar to the visa support portals that were used during major global events.

“Just like we opened a portal for supporters to apply for visas for the World Cup, the same idea could apply here. A Rapperholic UK portal where your event ticket, hotel booking, and travel plans become part of the journey. Let's make it a Ghana cultural travel moment,” he shared.

He further indicated that the vision would require financial support from the government and collaboration across various institutions.

“This vision must be backed financially by the government and made part of the official Ghana@70 calendar across all the offices that matter,” he noted.

According to him, the concert could serve as one of the defining moments that highlight the connection between Ghanaian music, culture and national pride on the global stage.

He also suggested that it would be exciting to see national leaders participate in the celebration.

“One of those moments that reminds the world how deeply music, culture and national pride can connect. And with a Gen-Z-at-heart president, it would even be cool to see him pull up on stage for ‘Fa Ma Omo Season,’” he added.
