Following the success of Medikal’s Indigo O2 concert and King Promise’s Asia tour, many have suggested that the prestigious O2 Arena could be the next destination for some promising Ghanaian acts.

In an interview with Joy Prime, popular UK-based Ghanaian event organiser Alordia, picked King Promise as the musician most likely to fill the O2 Arena.

Following this, King Promise has expressed his desire to perform at the prestigious O2 Arena in the UK.

Speaking in a live interview on TV3, King Promise added that such a feat would only be possible with the right support and planning, adding that he doesn’t want to be pressured into hosting a show just because people say so.

“It’s highly possible… If we come together and put something together, I think it's possible.

“Who wouldn’t like to play the O2? I would love to play the O2. But everything for me is step-by-step. You have to move from A before you go to B. You don't just go because everyone is saying it. You have to build it. Make sure that your core audience is a part of the process. Because for me, it's really about the journey more than the destination,” he said.

Having performed there three times as a guest artist, King Promise narrated his experience, he described the O2 Arena as "grand" and "crazy," noting it as his biggest indoor platform to date despite being at larger venues.

“I would love to play the O2. I've performed at the O2 three times already. I know how it feels, but there are so many other things that we're trying to get done and eventually do the O2 as well.

“It's grand. It's crazy. It's huge. It’s probably the biggest indoor platform I've ever performed on. I've done festivals which are, like, way bigger, but not indoors,” he said.
