Following two successful decades in the entertainment industry, actress Juliet Ibrahim has reflected on one important lesson she wishes she had learned much earlier in her career.
In an interview on Joy FM on March 7, 2026, the actress said she wished she had known how to invest properly as an entertainer.
According to her, when she was starting, many entertainers did not receive proper guidance on saving or investing for the future.
She explained that at the time, most entertainers, from footballers to actors, were simply living their lives as they went along without clear knowledge about financial planning or investment.
'I'm open to giving marriage another chance' – Juliet Ibrahim
“One of the things I wish I knew then was how to invest properly as an entertainer because, at the time, we didn’t really have guidance from anyone. We didn’t really have anyone who would say, ‘Let me show actors or entertainers how they can save for the future or invest and become someone in the future.’ From footballers to whoever, if you look down the lane, a lot of people were just living life as it goes,” she said.
According to Juliet, with the knowledge and experience she has now, she would advise her younger self to focus more on investment and building a strong financial foundation early in her career.
She added that getting a business manager to handle her brand at the time would also have made a huge difference.
“Knowing what I know now, I would tell my 18-year-old self: ‘You should have done proper investment, taken a proper business course, or gotten a business manager to manage you as a brand at the time,’” she added.
Meanwhile, after navigating the highs and lows of love in the public eye, the actress has also indicated that she is open to giving marriage another chance despite the challenges she has faced in her past relationships.
She explained that although she is willing to remarry, her focus now is on peace of mind and choosing a partner who truly adds value to her life.
