I will win GGI Award - Brenya

Hiplife artiste, Brenya whose first single ‘Life’ has been nominated for two categories in the upcoming Ghana Gospel Industry Awards has expressed his happiness and hopes of beating Sarkodie, E.L, Trigmatic and Lil Shaker to win the award for the Alternative Gospel Song of the Year and Alternative Gospel Video of the Year categories .

Speaking about his nominations, the Cue-signed artiste who could not hide his feeling in an interview with Zionfelix.com said “it was unexpected but exciting at the same time. In fact my heart is full of praise”.

The rapper continued to say “I’m humbled to be nominated in the same category as these artistes. At the moment, all those names are bigger than mine but artistically, my song ‘LIFE’ can compete with any song in the category. I know I will win one of the awards if not all with the help of Ghanaians who have started voting.”

He further urged Ghanaians to vote more to make him winner on the night. To Vote for Brenya’s ‘Life’ to win Alternative Gospel Video of the Year, text 6BN to 1736 and 7BN to 1736 to win Alternative Gospel Song of the Year.

Kwasi Brenya-Baah, a.ka Brenya is a talented rapper, singer, writer, songwriter, video director/editor and alumni of KNUST. Brenya’s ‘Life’ single was nominated in the Alternative Gospel Song of the Year with Sarkodie’s ‘Hallelujah’, E.L’s ‘See Me Suffer’ and Lil Shaker’s ‘Amen’.

It also competes with Sarkodie’s Hallelujah, E.L’s Hallelujah and Trigmatic’s ‘Wo Sika Nti’ in the Alternative Gospel Video of the Year categories.

The 2013 edition of GGIA comes off at the National Theatre on Sunday December 22, 2013.
