I will raise a battalion of strong for comedy game - Afia Schwarzenegger vows

Ghana’s queen of comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger has indicated that she is going to revolutionize the stand-up comedy game in the country.

She said she is making a firm decision to fight for the comedy scene, to motivate young women out there who are interested in a stand-up comedy career.

Afia has assured all that she won’t give up, as there no other female stand up comedians in Ghana aside herself.

In a post on her Instagram page, Afia Schwarzenegger promised young women interested in the industry that she will fight for them and urged them to not give up. “And if u are a Lil girl somewhere with the dream...don't let anything stop you.

Trust me I will fight till the end for the next Afia Schwarzenegger to be born...I with the help of God won't give up till we raise a battalion of strong funny women who can bring out the fun of anything, any situation and anyone without fear or favour,” she stated. The media personality added that this is the legacy she hopes to live and expressed pride in the path she has chosen.

Afia Schwarzenegger first hit the screens in the hilarious local comedy also titled ‘Afia Schwarzenegger, where she played a cunning and witty woman in the capital city. She has climbed up from her onscreen character to becoming a brand in the entertainment industry, having worked as a radio host on many FM stations in Ghana.
