Movie Producer, Socrate Sarfo has revealed that his office at the Ghana House Building as Director for Creative Arts – Programmes and Project is under renovation.
He said due to bad omission at his former office, he has been moved to a newly office which is almost under completion for his office duties.
This follows after Socrate had confirmed on Peace FM ‘Entertainment Review’ on Saturday, that he has been provided with an office to perform his duties.
This didn’t augur well with some stakeholders who believe the movie maker told lies in order to cover up for the Ministry, whereas he has no office to operate in.
However in an interview with The Publisher, the head of Zylofon Arts Funds revealed his office will be completed in the coming days.
”My earlier office was in a bad shape, I was moved here recently. This current place is under fixing. Few things are being done to make it complete. Contractors are working immensely to get the work done as early as possible” – he said.
Mr Sarfo is one of the creative activists that openly lent support to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prior to the 2016 elections.
When the NPP won power, he was tipped as a potential Minister for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. However, that appointment eluded him.
To most creative arts connoisseurs, Sarfo’s role as the Director of Creative Arts is very crucial in proving his mettle as a public servant.
