Highly Spiritual music label signee, Krymi, has recounted how he used to sing for ladies during his SHS days.

Winner of the Uncovered Artist of the Year for Ghana Music Awards UK 2019, Henry Nuamah, affectionately called Krymi in the music world, has recounted how he discovered his musical talent as he sang for ladies way back in SHS.

According to the MTN hitmaker contestant, he never started music growing up as some people in the industry say. ”I never started my career when I was in diapers like others say, that isn’t real."

He added that he found out about his talent somewhere along the way.

The Toffee crooner said he noted his talent when he was singing in the bathhouse one day in school and was caught by a senior who made him sing for his girlfriend and her friends later in the dormitory.

The Dede hitmaker had his breakthrough after Kaywa discovered his talent during his time at the MTN hitmaker in 2017 and decided to help him.

He studied civil engineering at the university level and has never been to a music school before.

Speaking on Ghana Nti on Kfm TV, he noted that his interest in music grew as he played instruments together (keyboard and guitar) with his brother.

He noted that the journey to the limelight has not been easy at all but he believes God has a mission for everyone and when your time is up, your light will shine and he believes this is his time, as his mates are the likes of dancehall Queen Kakie and many more.

Touching on what the award meant to him, he said right when he came back, he deleted all the audios he had done because it meant a lot of people were expecting more dope tunes and the best of him so he needed to work extra hard.
