Growing up as a kid in Ghana, many are very passionate about football, and many thought they possessed enough talent to venture into the field.

Live FM’s radio show host Jay Foley has however admitted he had intentions of becoming a footballer when he was just a kid.

He made this revelation during the launch of the KFC Soccer competition set to take place on October 3rd.

“Growing up I loved football and I actually thought I would become one. In fact it was my dream to become a footballer,” he said.

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, KFC Ghana partnered with Live 91.9fm to organize the second edition of KFC football beat which began on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Children aged 10 to 18 years are invited to enter the Football Beat tournament.

The Football Beat campaign is designed to allow younger customers an opportunity to play their favorite game of football while making new friends, share great memories, and exercising the body.
