Ghanaian actor and political activist, Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr Beautiful, has spoken about his ambition to one day become the president of Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on March 4, 2026, the actor stated that he is seriously considering entering mainstream politics and is ready to begin the process if the opportunity and resources present themselves.

According to him, becoming president is a dream he is not afraid to pursue.

“Yes, I have an interest in occupying a political position. I want to become the next president. Who wouldn’t want to be in that position? I want to become means it’s a process. I will go through a certain process to become,” he said.

Mr Beautiful further explained that he may begin his political journey by contesting for a parliamentary seat if he gets the necessary support and resources.

“I can start with being MP if I have the resources and my constituency thinks that I can serve them better, I will go for it,” he shared.

The actor also emphasized that he does not believe in waiting for the “right time” before pursuing one’s dreams.

“I’m not the kind of person who would think it’s not their time. It’s my time and I will always dream big. You have to dream big and start now,” he added.
