Gyedu Blay Ambolley says he is not happy about the deal he signed with telecommunication network GLO.
The legendary highlife artiste in an interview on Hitz FM said GLO failed to honour certain clauses in their contract which does not augur well for the company.
"I have been with GLO for the past five years and talking about the dos and donts of what was stipulated in the contract, many things were fallen short. The kind of determination that GLO brought right from the beginning swindled down. They are not making the artiste known".
Stating some of the clauses in the contract which made him sign the contract, Ambulley revealed "GLO said they were going to be doing 5 shows but sometimes in the whole year, it was just one show. Looking at what transpired, I think that it is about time that we need to move forward because there are a whole lot of brands out there and many of them are looking for artistes to use them for their brand to be known.”
Ambolley stated clear that “where we are now, we are moving out”.
He further advised Stonebwoy to take an advise from what happened to him when he signed the GLO deal since reports suggest that he has been approached with $80,000.
There is too much difference between deal signed by Nigerian artistes and Ghanaian artistes when it comes to GLO deals. They give Nigerians artiste like $250,000 and that doesn’t happen with Ghanaian artistes so GLO calls Stonebwoy, all that I can tell him is to watch out”.
