I trained Kwabena Kwabena - Kontihene

Hiplife artiste Kontihene known in real life as Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng has said he trained colleague musician Kwabena Kwabena.

The Award winning artist told Afia Schwarzennegar on Aben Wo Ho, on Kasapa 102.3 FM that he played an important role in the early years of the singer, adding his (Kwabena) passion has also aided his commercial success.

“I trained Kwabena Kwabena in music and even wrote songs for him.”

“Doing music should be part of you, don’t be too anxious to release your songs in earnest.”

Kontihene’s new single “Gye Nyame” featuring Obibini will be released on September 1.
