I still have Kofi B’s unreleased songs – King Dee

Popular Ghanaian music producer, King Dee, has revealed that he in his possession, unreleased songs of the late Kofi B.

According to King Dee, he was working with Kofi B on an album he was set to release, before his unfortunate demise in Cape Cost.

Speaking in an interview the music producer said they were working assiduously on the album and was hoping they would release it together.

“We are done with it. I was so sad to hear of him passing away. I thought we were going to release the album and never thought of his death. He is even done with all the singing on his beats,” King Dee explained.

King Dee said in order to keep Kofi B’s legacy alive, he intends to talk to his family so he could release the songs posthumously.

“Now I will have to sit down with his family to discuss terms. It’s unfortunate he is dead but that is the way forward,” he said.

The sad demise of Kofi B, born Kofi Boakye Yiadom occurred on February 2nd, 2020, in Cape Coast, where he had gone to perform for the Chief of Abease.
