A popular movie producer, Samuel Degraft Yeboah, has lamented that he had regretted helping Fella Makafui to stardom.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Yeboah is claiming that he was the one behind Fella Makafui’s fame because he exposed her to the movie industry.
According to him, six years ago, he featured Fella in a series, School Life, which also had the likes of Maame Serwaa and other Kumawood actors and actresses starring in it.
The movie producer explained that it was the series that laid the foundation for Fella to earn a role in the popular youth series You Only Live Once (YOLO) which eventually shot her to fame.
However, after all these years, Fella Makafui had turned her back against him, adding that she was now bringing lawyers against him.
The movie producer made these allegations following threats by Fella Makafui to sue him.
An earlier post by Fella explained that the movie producer was producing a movie titled: ‘Kakalika Love’ using her picture as one of those who starred in the movie.
Even though she featured in that movie, Fella was complaining that the title was not what was agreed on earlier.
She thus called the producer and the movie a scam and fraud, asking her fans to ignore it. But the producer said many calls to reach Fella earlier to inform her about the new title of the movie went unanswered and so he decided to go ahead with the title ‘Kakalika Love’ which has infuriated her so much.
It is clear that she felt the title of the movie was meant to mock her further because that was the title of the song released by her rival Deborah Vanessa to attack her after she snatched Medikal from her.
Meanwhile, Fella and Medikal have spiced up their love life despite the many controversies that rocked their relationship in recent times. She was in the news for displaying her promise ring after a report that she would be getting married to Medikal soon.
