I received death threats after I released ‘Kasiebo’ - Obrafour

Legendary Obrafour and rap mogul has disclosed that opposing to the well-known idea that his hit song “Kasiebo” became a household name after its release, he was also threatened with death even though the song carried an award. He said that the threats were coming from Kumasi specifically.

In a discussion with Zylofon FM’s Sammy Flex today Tuesday, the rap mogul said he had lots and loads of phone calls of which majority of them threatening his life after the hit song was released.

Prior to this, he went in person to see Okyeame Kwame to offer his apologies due to the concept that the “Kasiebo” song was a diss song to him and Obour as the public sees it.

After Obour and Okyeame Kwame came out with the hit single, “Killing the Game” which featured Lynx Entertainment’s Richie Mensah, Obrafour released the song “Kasiebo” which Ghanaians thought it was a diss song responding to the trio.

The “Rasta” hip-life artist is 20 years in the Ghanaian music industry and as plans to celebrate his consistency and success in the industry, on May 29th he held a launch at the Tang Palace to make public his intention to celebrate his remarkable achievement on the 9th November.
