He promised he would do everything possible to avert the marriage between veteran actor, Kofi Adjorlolo and TV host Victoria Lebene Mekpah, because the two according to him, were worlds apart age wise, which makes it impossible for them to have a meaningful relationship.

Perhaps his determination was greatly rewarded as the two have broken up barely few months after the relationship was built.

Following ‘gist’ that 27-year-old Lebene has broken up with Mr. Adjorlolo, Counsellor Cyril George Lutterodt who was very critical of the relationship, has expressed pleasure as all efforts by him, including praying and fasting, to prevent the ‘abominable’ from happening have yielded positive results.

Speaking to Ghanaweb, Counsellor Lutterodt stated that Lebene’s earlier decision to get married to the veteran actor was sickening.

“She is a bad girl. For you to have interest in your father’s size is disrespectful. Your father has gone on retirement so you know what old age is,” he said.

Lebene in an interview with peacefmonline.com said her father, S.P Victor Mekpeh, a retired Chief Superintendent Officer of Ghana Prison Service was never in support of the relationship and had sworn never to give his blessing to their marriage, a reason she called it quits.

According to her, she was happy with Mr. Adjorlolo but her happiness would not be complete if her family, especially her father opposes their union.

“So I have decided to make my father proud and to let him know that I have listened to him and I don’t want the marriage to come between me and my father because he is one of the reasons why I am who I am today” she noted.

In a rebuttal, Counsellor Lutterodt asserted that the breakup was as a result of the pressure from him and some Ghanaians who saw everything wrong with the relationship.

Counsellor Lutterodt’s first comment on the relationship was in February, 2017 which triggered a response from Lebene; she threatened legal action if he did not retract what she described as ‘unsavory words’ used against her.

He was however unfazed as he maintained Lebene was too young to marry Adjorlolo, adding that she is only trying to kill the veteran actor before his time.
