Beatz maker and music producer, Kweku Billz in an interview with Sammy Kay has confirmed that indeed highly spiritual signee, Mr. Drew only changed the lyrics of the song he is being accused of stealing from Rotimi.

Giving a vivid account of the whole fracas, Kweku Billz stated that he had the chance to work on the beat by just adding percussion vibes to the original beats produced for Rotimi and was only aware Drew was going to do a cover of the song.

He stated that during the final stages before the ‘Eat’ song was released, he had deliberations with Mr. Drew as to whether he does the final “mixes” of the song or gives it out Kaywa to perfect it, but that couldn’t materialize because Kaywa wasn’t around.

Mr. Drew then instructed him to therefore send the beat to Datbeatgod via email of which Beatgod acknowledged receipt of the work he (Kweku Billz) has done.

Kweku billz stated that , he finds it quite absurd for Datbeatgod to relegate him to the background and portray himself as if he produced the beats for the “Eat” song when he grants interviews.

He also blamed Mr. Drew and management for keeping mute on the issue.

Kweku Billz was part of the 78 injured victims of the Melcom Achimota building collapse incident in 2012 which left 14 victims dead.

He narrated the sad story which has resulted to him going for 7 surgeries and still counting .

He recounted the struggles he went through and adding that he had to drink his own urine at a point because all hope was lost.
