I'm not arrogant - Kwesi Arthur

Fast-rising Ghanaian talented hip-hop artiste,Kwesi Arthur has said that he is not arrogant like people perceive him to be.

Kwesi Arthur who always talks about how he came from a poor background and struggled all the way to the top has been recently been tagged as ‘proud’ because of his fame.

Reacting to such claims on Hitz Fm’s DayBreak Hitz Show, the rapper said that he is not arrogant as a section of the public perceives.

The Tema-based rapper proceeded by saying that he doesn’t know why people see him as arrogant but he has tried very hard not to let pride get to him.

“They might have a misunderstanding with me that I don’t know about…, I don’t think I will offend anyone intentionally… I try not to let my pride get in a way.” He told Andy Dosty.

Kwesi Arthur whose real name is Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur in June this year became the only Ghanaian to receive a nomination at this year’s Black Entertainment Television ( BET) Aawrds.

He was nominated in the ‘Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act Category.

He has released hit songs like Anthem, Grind Day, Woara etc.

His song ‘Grind day’ won Hip Hop song of the year at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards.
