Ghanaian entertainers publicly endorsing political parties ahead of this year’s December 7 polls has become a norm in the country but another trend developing in recent times is people editing videos and pictures of stars to portray they have shown their support for a certain political party and its flag bearer.

After actor Kwaku Manu’s peace video was edited to tell the world that he has endorsed the ruling NDC government, a new picture circulating shows actress cum movie producer Emelia Brobbey endorsing president Mahama.

The picture has started generating lots of noise on social media platform with some people questioning why she would join the many Kumasi actors who have endorsed NDC.

Emelia Brobbey has quickly reacted to the photo circulating. Speaking to Zionfelix.net Sunday afternoon, the Kumawood star who is currently outside the country said she has not endorsed any political party prior to this year’s election.

She added that the flier is a photoshopped work by unknown persons to achieve their selfish interest.

Emelia told Zionfelix.net that she is not into politics so she would not endorse any political party. On her European tour, she disclosed that “so far so good”.
