I have not seized Kaakie's voice - JMJ being sarcastic

Kaakie Kaakie

Many seem to wonder what has happened to the dying music career of dancehall diva Kaakie after quitting Xtra Large Music record label.

Some people have sought to lay blame to a clause in the contract Kaakie signed with Jam Master Jay, CEO of Xtra Large record label which prevents her from using music produced under the label.

Responding to the question as to whether there was such a clause in the contract signed by Kaakie, JMJ said

"A lot of the writers out there are so ignorant about our entertainment laws. Amansan Krakye let me ask you, should you one day quit your radio station, will you carry along with you the program you're currently hosting?"

Award winning producer JMJ has worked with a lot of top notch artistes in Ghana and is widely known for his Missile Riddim which Samini used to take a swipe at Shatta Wale.

When Amansan Krakye asked JMJ if it's true that he has killed the music career of Kaakie after she left Xtra Large Music, he said

"Have I seized Kaakie's voice? or did I put her voice in my pocket after she left my record label?"

"I have not prevented her from using her voice, Kaakie is now in the United Kingdom so we expected her to make higher strides since that's where she can link up with the likes of Fuse ODG".

JMJ made these comments during the trending celebrity interview with award winning radio broadcast dynamo, Amansan Krakye on CenTral DryVe via Radio Central 92.5/91.3Mhz in Cape Coast.
