I hate Stonebwoy's bad character and ego - Willie Roi

Stonebwoy Stonebwoy

Music producer, Willie Roi has revealed on GH Entertainment on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that, he does not hate award winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy but hates his bad character.

He was speaking in an exclusive interview with Prince Kwesi Dadzie on Saturday November 10, 2018. Willie Roi says the Zylofon Music signed artiste has a bad ego and a bad character which he [Stonebwoy] is unwilling to change.

He said, there are certain attitudes he has developed which I think is not good. He is having a crazy ego and he is not willing to drop his ego after joining the Zylofon Label.

"Stonebwoy is having a master ego. Although there are others with egos, that of Stonebwoy is at the extreme level. Shatta is a crazy guy but when it comes to work, he drops his ego and tries to be nice. That is why I like Shatta Wale,’’ he posited.

Willie Roi went on further to slam people claiming he hates Stonebwoy and stressed that, the gel between them is not there because of his bad character but does his professional job.

He described Stonebwoy as the best vocal artiste in Africa and a great artiste who he has helped pushed globally behind the doors.

He answered in the affirmative when he was asked if he was a quick tempered person adding, "when I teach you something and I realise you do not have a learning spirit, I tell you my mind.’’

He said he has come into contact with musicians who see themselves as stars when in actual fact they are not.

"When you are grooming an artiste, you have to realise that they have an ego and if you don’t kill their ego, it will become a character. So if I teach you something and you show an ego, I will tell you. I don’t have time for such people. People come and they think they know better than the people who are already in the business. I don’t have time for that. I will deal with that character,’’ he said.
