It may not be easy for an artist to wear a particular colour for several years, but Hiplife artist Barima Sidney says he remains very comfortable donning the white colour in all his public appearances for the past twenty (20) years.
The ‘Donkomi’ singer says he loves the colour white, which has become synonymous with his personality over the years, adding that he’ll find it very difficult to wear any other colour during his public performances.
Speaking on Adom TV over the weekend, Barima Sydney who is one of the very few musicians aside Reggie Rockstone to start the hiplife genre in the mid 90’s, said after doing close to two decades of Hiplife, he is set to come out with a gospel truck which will blow the minds of music lovers and his fans in particular.
“I’m coming out with a gospel song and I know it will do very good when it’s finally out. I featured the amazing Ceci Twum, I chose to involve her in my song because I like her music and respect her for how humble she is”.
The ‘Apuskeleke’ hit singer added that he uses his music mainly as a tool to address social and political ills, which over the years has sometimes landed him in trouble; however he remained committed to pursuing that course because he believes that is his calling.
