Former YFM presenter Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka aka Princess Ada has denied being psychotic after it was alleged she had staged her own abduction and multiple rape earlier in April 2015.

“Me being psychotic? God have mercy” she told Ekow Mensah–Shalders on the maiden edition of the Executive Breakfast Show (EBS) on Class 91.3fm.

“I have been doing radio for 10 years in Nigeria and Ghana and if I were psychotic, it should have appeared somewhere,” she added.

Princess Ada, who has worked in a number of radio stations in Nigeria and Ghana said none of her employers has come out to say she has ever shown any signs of psychosis.

The former Y FM presenter made the headlines after news of her alleged abduction and rape broke on Monday, April 13, 2015 with pictures of her allegedly being sexually assaulted circulating on social media.

This created an uproar that led to the police launching a full-scale investigation into the matter.

It later emerged that Ada, a lady friend of hers, and two young men staged the abduction and rape at a hotel near Abossey Okai in Accra, an allegation Ada has denied.
