Movie Producer Fred Nuamah has denied that a News-One source recently spotted him wearing a pair of red boxer shorts and tiptoeing in the lobby of a hotel in Nigeria.
“I don’t even were boxers or anything beneath my trousers so if your reporter says he saw me wearing boxers it cannot be true. How could I have an erection and be tiptoeing as if I was going to steal something?
“I am not a small boy to be tiptoeing to someone’s hotel room at night. It is true I was in Nigeria all right but I slept in a very decent hotel at Lagos where the rooms have intercom phones so even if I wanted something like that, all I could have done was to have placed a simple call and not to come out and tiptoe around. “Ask your source well because no one could have seen me wearing boxers. I don’t even have one at all and I was not in Port Harcourt, I was in Lagos,” Fred Nuamah, who sounded angry, told News-One.
He added: “It did not happen and instead of cross-checking the report from me, you filed the story and did a cartoon showing me in some small panties with an erection.
You need to be careful because I am in the showbiz business and this game has a lot of people who want to destroy you for reasons of sheer jealousy or competition.”
A source had hinted News-One that sources in Nigeria had said they had seen Fred Nuamah wearing a pair of red boxer shorts and tiptoeing in the lobby of an unnamed hotel in Nigeria. The source said Fred had what looked like an erection and that he was tiptoeing from his room to the opposite room.
The paper’s source said Fred, without waiting to be asked, voluntarily explained that he was moving to the next room to ask for a phone charger and that he had left his in Ghana.
According to the source, when the female occupant of the room heard Fred’s voice, she opened the door and was also seen wearing a see-through night gown and holding a phone charger. The lady, a Nigerian, was said to have given Fred the phone charger and he returned to his room. It is however not certain what happened when he returned the charger later.
