Holiday lovers gathered at the titanic beach in Tema to climax this years' Easter festivities with friends, family, lovers and well-wishers on Monday.
The beach was already filled with activities when the Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited at about 1300hours.
Whereas holiday lovers were seen drinking, eating and dancing to some popular hip life and afro pop music, other celebrants were also spotted swimming, playing football along the beach and groups of people sitting under self-erected canopies.
Drinking bars and restaurants along the beach were also occupied with customers.
Residents within the Sakumono village enclave, close to the beach, also took advantage of the occasion to make some money by selling food, drinks, swimming costumes, football amongst others.
Photographers were also not left out of the business, they paraded the shores with their cameras and portable printer as they marketed themselves shouting "instant photo, instant photo".
Enthusiasts were also seen riding horses with large groups of youth were also actively jogging along the beach chanting songs (Jamah) amidst claps, drumming and play of metallic instruments to keep the rhythm and moral.
