The one-week observation of the late Mabel Intuah, sister of actress Vivian Jill Lawrence, has brought together several celebrities, business personalities, traditional leaders and well-wishers at the East Legon Executive Club.

The event, held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, attracted several familiar faces from Ghana’s entertainment and social circles, who came to mourn with Vivian Jill and her family and offer their support during the difficult period.

Among the personalities spotted at the gathering were actresses Nana Ama McBrown, Roselyn Ngissah and Adwoa Smart, gospel musician Obaapa Christy, broadcaster Akumaa Mama Zimbi, musician Choirmaster and several other notable figures.

Guests were subsequently introduced, after which the names of individuals who had donated money to support the bereaved family were announced, together with the amounts they had contributed.

The gesture highlighted the strong support surrounding Vivian Jill and her family following the passing of her sister.

A major highlight of the occasion was a cultural performance led by Adwoa Yeboah Agyei and her cultural group.

The performance added a traditional touch to the gathering as mourners and guests watched the group showcase Ghanaian cultural music and dance.

Several personalities also presented cash donations to Vivian Jill and the family as part of efforts to support them during the mourning period.

Although the occasion was primarily a solemn one, the atmosphere later became more relaxed as food and drinks were served to guests.

Those present were treated to a variety of refreshments, with mourners and visitors eating and interacting after the main activities.

The gathering ultimately became a strong display of friendship, solidarity and support for Vivian Jill and her family as they continue to mourn the loss of Mabel Intuah.
