The Harmonious Choral thrilled patrons at the maiden Festival of Nine Lessons and Carrols night organized by Volta Serene Hotel, Ho, Sunday evening.
The festival held in one of the Four-Star executive hotels’ luxurious auditoriums, was delivered to standard and would forever remain on the minds of the hundreds who patronized the event.
With the auditorium filled to capacity, the four-man group, Kwan pa, kick-started the festival with melodious local songs to the admiration of the patrons.
The University of Health and Allied Sciences Choir held the front as they delivered from the first to the fifth Christmas carols before handing over to the Harmonious Choral.
The award-winning choir which was the point of attraction to many of the patrons delivered just as expected of them, as their powerful and angelic voices livened up the auditorium.
Patrons could not help but to sing along and dance to the songs performed by the Harmonious Choral.
Notable among persons who read the nine lessons were the Commander rear for the 66 artillery regiment, Major Appiah Sarpong, Volta Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Doku and Dr Lord Mensah of the Volta Regional Hospital.
UHAS Vice-Chancellor, Prof John Owusu Gyapong and Chief Executive Officer of First Sky Group of Companies, Eric Sedi Kutortse, also delivered some of the nine lessons.
The Archbishop of the Ho Diocese, Bishop Emmanuel Fianu, in a sermon urged Christians to use this year’s Christmas to extend a helping hand to the needy and pray for peace in Ghana.
