Tracing it all down history, many Ghanaian Deejays never thought the somewhat “leisure” track titled “Hold Yuh” by Jamaican singjay, GYPTIAN would the highly sought for voice and riddim until it has proved otherwise.

Apart from X-Man of X fm 95.1 in Accra – Ghana who since March 2010 has made overtime airplay on the track, barely would one hear Gyptian’s “Hold Yuh” play on any deejay’s programme. Even radio fans who listened to the track paid less attention to it.

Not until Gyptian’s feature of NICKI MINAJ on “Hold Yuh” which took the whole world by storm. As at now, remix version of the track currently steps beyond 40 globally with features like LADY SAW, STEIN, RICKY BLAZE, ZIONOMI, ROCK CITY, ALANIE, CHINO, SHANI, MIA STOSH, SASHI LAMONT among among.
