Guru rocks Sallafest 2016

Celebrated hiplife/hip hop artiste,Guru, known for his usual lowly stage crafts, appeared to have swung back to life when he delivered a stellar performance at the just ended Sallahfest 2016 concert at Nima.

The event which climaxed the Eid festivities saw good performances from the high Grade Family CEO, Samini, budding singer, Kofi Kinaata, and old boys such as Praye,Kwaw Kese ,VVIP, Jupiter, and Tinny. A number of upcoming artistes also graced the stage.

As monitored by Reagan Mends of www.razzonline.com,the highest point of performances on the night was when Guru graced the stage. He really thrilled patrons with an electrifying performance that got fans yearning for more.

Guru, who is out with his latest single "Raw", performed nine of his hit songs namely ,"Keep walking”, “Pooley Swag”, “Bonsam Ani”, “Pooley” ,” Mpaebo” , “Lapaz Toyota” , “Azonto boys” , among others.

The event which was held off the Nima Highway as part of activities marking the Eid al-Fitr celebrations also saw about 10,000 people in Nima, Maamobi and Newtown communities being feted.

Early in the day, various ceremonies were held to commemorate the Eid festivities including drumming and dancing, with the chiefs of Nima riding horses in unique fashion.
