Guru over the weekend proved the fine artist that he is, when he put up an excellent show at the third edition of Roll Kall, dubbed ‘No Yawa’.
Headlining a concert that also featured performances from Guru, Gemini and Double among others, he literally brought the house down, dishing out some of his recent hits, to the delight of the thousands who turned up.
The event brought together students and immediate past students of thousands of second cycle institutions across the country.
They took part in competitions in Basketball, 5-Aside Football, Rap and Dance Battle, Fashion Show, Jama, Pool, and Jama among other exciting side attractions.
In its third year, Roll Kall remains Ghana’s biggest outdoor event for second cycle institutions.
This year’s event was also used to formally launch the ‘No Yawa’ campaign, being spearheaded by DKT International Ghana, distributors of popular condom brands Fiesta, Kiss and Lydia.
“The project seeks to address the high unmet reproductive health needs of Ghana’s youth. It will be the support service where Ghanaian youth will be educated on issues regarding sex, which will then empower them to make informed sex choices”, officials have said.
The event was powered by Planet One Multimedia and YFM, and it was sponsored by FIESTA Condoms, Kiss Condoms, Lydia Female Contraceptive, and with support from Papas Pizza.
