Just like many have said already, Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has also referred to multiple hiplife hit maker Nana Yaw Maradona well known as Guru as one of the hardworking artists in Ghana.

Performing their collaborative smash single Money Power over the weekend at the 2016 Salafest held at Vienna City in Kumasi, the Kakai hitmaker stated he is surprised Guru hardly gets any recognition at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards despite the hard work he puts into his music and the number of hit tunes he churns out every now and then.

“Guru is one of the hardworking artists in Ghana but Ghanaians don’t appreciate his enormous effort… Someone like Guru is a very good artist but Ghana Music Awards doesn’t want to nominate him but when he talks, they will refer to him as disrespectful”

Do you think Guru deserves better and must he be worried for not being recognized at awards shows in Ghana?

Watch Shatta Wale make the pronouncement at Salafest 2016.
