Hiplife artiste, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as K. K. Fosu, has pleaded with government to make cannabis locally known as ‘wee’ a legal substance and rather ban the use of Tramadol.
In an interview on Kasapa FM’s mid-morning show, hosted by Pomaa Kyekyeku, K.K. explained that, the use of tramadol by the youth has led the untimely death of young ones.
He said, because most people frown upon ‘wee’ smoking, people have therefore taken an alternative to use tramadol as means of getting hyper.
K. K. Fosu claimed about 99% of artistes take in wee but are still healthy as compared to people who take tramadol.
According to him, he used to take smoke ‘wee’ and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it hence must be legalized as it will substitute the intake of Tramadol.
“Hard drugs include cocaine and stuff, which I will never tolerate, but wee is normal. Sometimes, wee is recommended to asthmatic patients to enhance their recovery. Many people take wee, we are just being hypocrites. I’m not saying we should legalize it in the sense that people will feel obliged to use it as and when they like, at least there should be a of bit respect for people around them. The use of Tramadol is becoming dangerous, I hear little kids in Junior High School even take it, which is very wrong.” He said on Kasapa FM.
The ‘Anadwo Y3 D3’ hit maker has released a new single ‘Who Say Man No Dey’ off his upcoming album ‘I’m back’ which is set to be released in August 2018.
