Government assures MUSIGA of support

' Accra, Oct. 26, GNA - Government has assured members of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) of its continuous support to develop the music industry in the country.

Mr Alexander Asum-Ahensah, Minister of Chieftaincy and Culture, who gave the assurance, pledged government's determination to pursue programmes and policies that would enhance standards of the music industry and welfare of members of the association. A statement issued by the Ministry in Accra on Wednesday, said Mr Asum-Ahensah gave the assurance when a three-man delegation from MUSIGA led by its President Bright Osei Kuffuor (aka Obour) called on him in Accra.
