GRAMMY awards winner, Gramps Morgan of the Morgan Heritage reckons that the Ghanaian government should consider legalizing cannabis Sativa since it’s a great resource.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo’ with DJ Adviser, the ace Jamaican reggae artiste indicated that although he’s never smoked marijuana, he holds that the legalization should be strongly considered based on its huge medicinal value.

“I never smoked a seed of marijuana in my life because God gave me a duty to sing. I believe smoking will damage my vocal cords. However, I think the government should consider legalizing it for medication. It has very good medicinal value and it’s a great resource.

It can be used for produce soaps, shampoo's and some medicines. I’m even planning to cultivate some now that it’s been legalized in some part of the US and Jamaica because it’s a very lucrative business.” Gramps Morgan said in his exclusive interview on Happy FM.

Morgan Heritage recently won the Best Reggae Album at the GRAMMY Awards ahead of Ghana’s Rocky Dawuni and others.
