Gospel musicians should be innovative - Bernard Amankwah

Ghanaian contemporary gospel musician, Bernard Amankwah, says the industry he belongs to is not doing much to add value to their products to attract people.

This according to the ''In his Presence'' hitmaker,the situation is hampering growth because the individual artistes are not generating enough revenue.

Speaking in an interview with Kofi Asante on A1 Radio,the gospel minister said ''Our Gospel music is not attractive in terms of the studio and engineering work, poor artist branding,bad managements and lack of innovative ideas''.

He emphasized on the need to come out with creative ideas in their ministry to improve their music career to a wider listenership.

Bernard Amankwah, is credited with several hit songs, including ‘Presence’, ‘Presence II’, ‘Almighty’, ‘The Glory Has Come’, ‘Holy’, and ‘Mercy Rescue Me’.
