Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has once again stirred reactions online after declaring that God continues to direct him to support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking during a recent interview on The Honest Bunch podcast, the actor said his support for Tinubu is rooted in what he described as divine direction, insisting that God has always shown him who to back during elections.

When asked what informed his decision to support Tinubu, Yul responded: “Because I want to support him and God, I have said it before in an interview, God has always shown me who to support, and he keeps showing me Tinubu, and I am going to stand by him.”

When the interviewer questioned whether God truly gets involved in elections, the actor doubled down on his claim.

“I don’t know if he is involved on your side, but he is involved in mine; he showed me where to go,” he said.

Yul Edochie has remained one of the entertainment industry’s most vocal supporters of Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress, despite repeated backlash on social media over his political positions.
