Gloria Safo jabs colleagues in the creative arts industry for being selfish

Actress, MC, and Voice over artist, Gloria Safo have complained bitterly about the lack of support in the Creative arts industry in Ghana.

According to the actress, although colleagues in the industry smile with her, they do not wish for her success and does not support her in anything she comes up with. Earlier today the actress posted a picture on her Instagram feed with caption

"There is nothing like #Love or #Support in my field of work, especially in Ghana here NOPE. Don't think any colleague is happy for you,,, no they aren't."

Speaking to Jibriel of Showcase Ghana, the actress expressed deep pain in the way her colleagues did not come to support her when she invited them for the Maiden edition of the relaunch of "Music Music" which happened last week Saturday inside Tv3's studios.

"Hmmmmmm I invited them to the relaunch/maiden come back of music music and they all agreed to come but most didn't came except Jessica Williams" said Gloria.

"They confirmed and made me inform my producers, they even made some packages for them but they didn't show up". She added.

The actress who seemed touched also stated; "It was really painful but they disappointed me and let me down"

Gloria Sarfo who said she supports anyone who invites her to their programs whether small or big program seems surprised and very sad when she invited them including people close to her but they refused.

"Sweedy everyone can testify in this industry that I never declined anybody's invitation no matter how small the event or program is, Especially those who are very close"

"With the exception of Vicky Zugah and Khareema who I know are nursing babies/fresh mothers so can't make it cos of their babies" she complained bitterly

When asked whether her colleagues wanted something before they attended the show, the actress said everything was under control as far as the producers of Music Music were concerned.

"Though they didn't ask but my producers made some packages available for them unknowingly"

"I didn't tell them... but when they invite me to their events or programs,,I dont charge them or ask for anything even when am MCing" she also asked "So what's even the point???"

"Am also an artiste and I think we deserve to be sorted out for honoring invitations like this, but this was purely a friendly and sisterly plea/favour, It hurts, it hurts badly dear, Especially some specific people amongst them who are extremely close and very dear that I never missed their programs but it is well"

Gloria Sarfo also indicated that she will never support any colleague in her industry because she does not intend to be fooled anymore.

"I WILL NEVER SUPPORT OR HONOUR ANY INVITATION FROM ANY COLLEAGUE WHATSOEVER. I AM SOOOOO DONE.I CANT BE A FOOL FOR TOO LONG NEVER!!!!"
