After raking in the numbers with his album 'MeVsYou in November 2019', UK-based Ghanaian artiste Ghetto Boy (GB) is gearing up for the release of new project for the year.

According to his team, this would be another successful project like 'Humble' which featured Ycee and had lots of airplay both in the UK and Ghana.

They added that this and many other plans are already in motion to set the 'Afro beats Prince' in place to take over the game.

“He played his part well in the afrobeats scene through his previous releases and the kind of sound the song “Humble” is, I felt like it’ll only be right to have him on there.” Ghetto Boy said about his yet-to-be released song.

"The song is a resonating, deep love song with a tropical vibe was produced by Mundo and the renowned guitarist James McCarthy."

He then shed light on the ‘MeVsYou’ EP, saying “It’s 7 tracks. This specific Ep is my chance to introduce high quality, authentic, contented afrobeats songs. A chance to show people afrobeats is more than the rhymes. It’s about the feeling. So everyone should expect good feeling music.”

About GB

The ‘Prince of the Afrobeats’ as he’s passionately referred to has been on a steady climb since the release of his first EP ‘Anointed’ in 2017.

With numerous hits such as ‘Under Lover’ (2017) and ‘For The Luv’ ft. Naira Marley (2018) already under his belt, it is clear that the Hackney-born artist is rapidly rising through the ranks and slowly shaping up to be one of the genre’s new frontrunners.

His first release in 2017, ‘Under Lover’ became a viral sensation that propelled him to prominence, sparking a global dance routine. Both the success of ‘Under Lover’ and his insatiable desire for success has taken GB all over the world, from headlining a show in Germany, performing with Mr Eazi in Sweden and a tour around Europe at the end of 2018.

Ghetto Boy now resides both in London and Ghana, an important move for his future as a global star whose focus lies on his fans and on showcasing his culture and legacy to his audience in its purest form.
