Ghanaians won’t pay attention to you if you don’t generate controversies -Wendy Shay

Ghanaian Afrobeat and Afropop singer Wendy Addo popularly known as Wendy Shay has disclosed in an interview what she does to stay relevant in the entertainment industry.

According to the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker, the Ghanaian Entertainment Industry is male-dominated and so generating controversies will make Ghanaians pay attention to you.

She added that being a good girl in the industry doesn’t sell and that it’s advisable to generate controversies to be able to gain attention.

“This industry is male-dominated. Until you do something extraordinary and mind-blowing, generating controversies here and there, people won’t pay attention to you, Ghanaians love dramatic stuff- not every time good girl stuffs”, Wendy Shay stated.

The new artiste of the year also stated that even though she receives a lot of backlash especially on social media, she doesn’t pay attention to them.

From the onset of her music career, Wendy Shay has been involved in several controversies from her alleged sexual relationship with her boss, Bullet to her recent picture with Former President Kufour that caused a stir on social media.
