Ghanaian actor, Samuel Osei Mensah of Ur’ Majesty fame much known as Striker has featured in an upcoming television series titled “Barbershop.
The series which elaborates much about life’s subject on issues discussed at barbering shops is soon to be broadcasted. Striker, casted in Good Morning Jesus Incorporation project as Bismark turns into a counsellor at a barbershop through a conversation made by Lexis and Chris on how friendship sometimes can be delusional after Lexis girlfriend was snatched by a fellow, Smart.
The director (Owusu Dennis) is a cordial friend to my manager and his influence played a great role in my taking part of the initiative. Working with him as an actor indeed was a great joy and an experience.” he said.
FNNews speaking to Striker concerning why he took the one scene role disclosed that the dialogues in the script captivated him for he perceived how matured and revised the story was. “After reading my lines over and over, I loved the lines (dialogues) and was glad to be part of such a project.
Reports suggest that, Samuel Osei Mensah received his script few hours from his manager before shooting yet his approach in handling the innovative role in the series defined how characterized Ur’ Majesty Crew has made him in the past few months.
“Yea, I received the script via social media few hours to shooting but the truth is that, my personal artistic director was there to help me capture the lines and the various actions to work on the scenes. I was so glad the director on set enjoyed every bit of my words and appreciated my efforts” he added.
The pre-production of Barbershop is still on going under the management of Good Morning Jesus Incorporation. The series features a least of five characters in every complete episode.
