The long awaited beach party the 3rd edition of Ghana SUMMER BEACH RAVE 2014, came off last Saturday at the Flamestone Beach, Kokrobite.
This year’s Summer Beach Rave was by far the biggest ever since its inception. The organizers of the event Ticket Ghana gave patrons a time of their life with the exciting activities they had lined up for the day.
The event was kick started in the late hours of the morning with a 5 aside beach soccer competition which had the Mighty Malt Team emerging as the winners. It was followed by a gingering musical break by DJ’s, who took turns to keep patrons dancing and socializing till late afternoon.
The dancehall sensation Episode was the first surprise artiste to break the ice on the stage by thrilling fans with his dancehall tunes to which fans sang along to all throughout his performance.
The much talked about first ever Bikini Queen Competition dubbed the Miss Summer Beach Rave commenced right afterwards. The contestant’s titillated the crowd with their exciting performances and answered questions from judges as to how they intended to execute their clean beaches projects.
At the end of the competition Miss Stephanie Daniels (a.k.a Shuga Angel) was crowned Miss Summer Beach Rave 2014.
The first and second runner-ups were Miss Winnie Amako and Miss Sheena Okai respectively. Winners were given cash prizes as well as souvenirs from sponsors. The remaining contestants were also given souvenirs from sponsors.
More surprise performances came up on the stage during and after the bikini queen competition. They were Jay Keys a Nigerian Pop artiste Keytarist, FimFim the Rapperman, Buddha Man and Fiifi Selah.
The “Amen” hit-maker Yaa Pono climaxed the surprise performances as he took the whole show on a different level of fun. Disc Jockeys on the bill kept party makers grooving on the dancing floor till late in the night.
The after party of the event was held at the Tilt Nightclub in Kokrobite where everyone went to unwind after the long day of fun.
